Industrial processes
Industries
Ventilation, filtration, and particulate material handling solutions sized to meet the requirements of each industry.
Understanding the process to define the solution
Each industry has its own operating conditions: particulate characteristics, gas temperature and composition, emission sources, and production continuity requirements.
Kleema considers these factors when sizing and integrating capture, extraction, filtration, and material handling systems. Our work covers new installations, expansions, and modernization of existing equipment to meet each process's needs.
Cement and lime
Particulate control and gas treatment throughout the process
Kleema develops particulate capture and filtration solutions for crushing, grinding, screening, conveying, storage, and bagging, as well as gas treatment for kilns, clinker coolers, and other thermal processes.
Sizing considers flow rate, temperature, dust loading, and material abrasiveness, integrating filters, fans, ducts, and discharge equipment. Depending on process conditions, the system may also include pre-collectors and gas coolers.
Our work covers new installations and retrofits, including conversion of electrostatic precipitators to baghouses and adaptation of existing systems to new operating conditions.

Steel, metallurgy, and foundries
Fume and particulate capture in metallurgical processes
Kleema develops fume and dust extraction and filtration solutions for processes using reduction furnaces, blast furnaces, and induction furnaces, as well as melting, transfer, and raw material preparation.
In foundries, our work also covers dust capture and filtration during preparation, handling, and reclamation of molding sand, including shakeout and material conveying.
Design considers variations in flow rate and temperature, particulate concentration and characteristics, and the presence of glowing particles. Capture systems, pre-collectors, spark arrestors, coolers, filters, and fans are integrated as required by the application.
Our work covers new installations and modernization of existing systems, with attention to capture efficiency, wear resistance, and operational reliability.

Mining and mineral processing
Dust control during processing and handling
Kleema develops particulate capture and filtration solutions for ore crushing, grinding, screening, drying, and transfer, as well as feeding, discharge, and storage points.
Sizing considers particle size distribution, abrasiveness, moisture, and dust loading, along with each application's flow rate and temperature. Integration of capture points, ducts, filters, and fans aims to contain emissions and maintain reliable extraction.
Discharge and handling of collected material are also part of the solution. Equipment is selected according to the wear and jamming risks associated with the ore's characteristics.

Chemical and fertilizer industries
Particulate control and gas treatment tailored to process characteristics
Kleema develops dust capture and filtration solutions for receiving, mixing, grinding, drying, transferring, and bagging chemicals and fertilizers.
Sizing considers product properties, including particle size distribution, moisture, corrosiveness, and tendency to adhere, along with gas flow rate, temperature, and composition. These parameters guide the selection of construction materials, filter elements, and cleaning and discharge systems.
Depending on the application, the solution may include gas conditioning and treatment with reagents or adsorbents. For fine materials with low bulk density, densification cones are also assessed to reduce the volume occupied during storage and transport.

Pharmaceutical industry and laboratories
Local capture with compact, efficient filtration
Kleema develops particulate capture and filtration solutions for weighing, preparation, mixing, and powder transfer, based on product characteristics and each installation's requirements.
Cartridge dust collectors are particularly suited to indoor applications with low air volumes, where their compact configuration allows filtration to be installed close to dust generation points.
Sizing considers capture flow rate, particulate properties, operating duty, and cleaning and maintenance requirements. Filter element selection and discharge configuration are assessed against each application's requirements.

Ceramics and industrial minerals
Dust control in raw material preparation and processing
Kleema develops particulate capture and filtration solutions for raw material crushing, grinding, screening, mixing, drying, and conveying, as well as feeding, discharge, and storage points.
Sizing considers material fineness and abrasiveness, dust concentration, moisture, and process temperatures. Integration of capture points, ducts, filters, and fans aims to contain emissions and maintain consistent extraction.
The solution also covers discharge and handling of collected particulate. For fine materials with low bulk density, densification cones may be assessed to optimize storage and transport.

Incineration and thermal waste treatment
Integrated treatment of particulates and gas contaminants
Kleema develops gas treatment systems for incineration and thermal waste treatment, considering gas stream composition, operating conditions, and the installation's emission control requirements.
Depending on the application, the solution integrates gas cooling, reaction towers, reagent or adsorbent dosing, and filtration. Treatment may address particulate matter, acidic compounds, heavy metals, dioxins, and furans, with stages selected according to the contaminants present.
Sizing considers flow rate, temperature, moisture, and process variations, along with reagent contact conditions and the retention and discharge of collected solids.

Energy and biomass
Particulate control in combustion gases and fuel handling
Kleema develops gas extraction and filtration solutions for boilers and other power generation processes, as well as dust capture during receiving, preparation, and conveying of biomass and solid fuels.
Design considers flow rate, temperature, moisture, particulate loading, and variations in combustion conditions. The presence of sparks and glowing particles also guides assessment of pre-collectors and spark arrestors upstream of filtration.
The solution integrates treatment equipment, fans, and collected ash discharge and handling devices, covering new installations and modernization of existing systems.

Food and agribusiness
Dust capture during product processing and handling
Kleema develops particulate capture and filtration solutions for receiving, cleaning, grinding, screening, mixing, and transferring grains, flours, and other powders, as well as storage and bagging stages.
Sizing considers product characteristics, capture flow rate, moisture, and operating duty. Selection of construction materials and components also accounts for each application's hygiene, cleaning, and contamination prevention requirements.
For products capable of forming combustible dusts, system design considers risk assessment and the protective measures required for the installation.
